When the short URL is published on various platforms, the caption of the eye-catching picture is easier to be seen.

Step1 : Click the "pencil" icon on the preview of the link to open the editing area on the left, click again the "pencil" icon on the thumbnail on the left area.

How can PicSee&#x27;s short links detect the user&#x27;s device and redirect them to different destinations?

The same link is determined by the device, and when a different device is opened, it will go to a different setting website. For example, only one APP download link is needed to add different orientation targets for Android and iOS. When an iOS user opens the link, it will go to the App Store to open it; while an Android user will go to the Google Play store.
The target device has a variety of options such as Mobile, Desktop, PC, Facebook, Twitter, etc. With just one link, it can go to diverse destinations.
1. Click the "pencil" on the link preview, click "Targets"
2. Open the forms, click the "plus" button
3. Choose the type of destinations, and enter the target link. Click the right top button "Confirm".

I’ve already printed the PicSee short link as a QR code. Can the destination URL be changed?

Accepted Answer

If you mistakenly shorten the wrong URL, and the wrong URL has been printed as published, you can swap the original URL to a correct URL.
But, for the sake of retargeting security considerations, if you short the YouTube links, you only can swap the other YouTube links, but cannot swap to others.

What kinds of data can PicSee&#x27;s short link collect?

PicSee keeps the intention of "data is for marketer", so if you are a PicSee registered user, you can check the link performance, including clicks of link, related links, time trend (by days, or by hours), area distribution, the device of link clicks.
1. click the icon of "analytic" of the link, open the performance page.
2. After opening the performance tracking page, first you can view the link clicks data, including "estimated exposure, unique clicks, Facebook likes, Facebook shares". The "estimated exposure" is almost equal to the accumulated link clicks; "unique clicks" is calculated based on different browsers (such as click by your mobile phone or computer will be two different clicks), and the "unique click" will be count as once.
In addition to the basic clicks data on this page, you can scroll down to see more information, such as the following:
"Time": PicSee provides a time distribution chart. In addition to the number of clicks per day, you can click to see the distribution of clicks by 24 hours a day. Also you can use the filter in the upper left corner to select the date range to view performance.
The click data of personal users is retained for the last 30 days (for example: 7/1 create a link, When 8 /15 viewing the link performance, it only show the the results within the last 30 days from 7/16 to 8/15 ). In addition, data such as "device", "source", and "region" are provided to help marketers better understand the link click status and check marketing data. (Note: The way PicSee collects data is: anonymously record the browser header when redirecting the address. Can I use my link to create short link?

Please go to "Setting → Domain → Add new branded short domain"
1. I have my BSD
You can directly type in your own new domain, or you can choose to add "go" or "to" before your old domain, like "to.picsee.io". The domain must be a new and unique domain to be the short URL domain, then, if you shorten the URL on PicSee, it will generate the short domain URL.
2. I want a new BSD
You can buy a new domain on PicSee, and we will set the short domain URL for you! It's more convenient! Typing the domain name you want, PicSee will show you the available domain and the price. If you have subscribed to an Initial or Classic plan, it includes the Brand Short Domain in your plan, you don't need to pay for the domain. Otherwise, if you haven't subscribed to any plan, you can also buy the domain only and use it.
3. Buying + HTTPS Setting
After subscribing annual Initial plan or annual Classic plan, you can go domain setting page to activate HTTPS. Once you activate, you have to contact PicSee customer service team to set your HTTPS.
Please note: The due date of HTTPS is same as your plan. Therefore, we suggest that you should activate HTTPS as soon as possible to avoid damaging your right.
