Why does my custom link preview look different on social media?

Social media and messaging apps display the title and description of shared links alongside the link itself.
If you haven’t utilized the Custom Preview feature, the preview displayed in the link record is for reference only, and the actual display is subject to the social media site’s rendering. For related issues, please refer to: Why Can’t I See My Webpage Thumbnail on PicSee?
If you have used the Custom Preview feature, but the preview on social media or instant messaging differs from what you’ve edited, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

For Facebook

Use Facebook’s official debugging tool to check the short URL’s preview:Facebook debug
If the debug results are normal, the following may be the cause:
  1. The link is scheduled for release: Facebook may not display the preview when scheduled, but it should appear normally after publishing.
  2. The image appears smaller: Older Android phones may not support larger images on Facebook. Updating the Facebook App should resolve this.
  3. Link Mismatch: Verify the hyperlink by hovering over the preview to ensure it matches the PicSee link.

For LINE

Use LINE’s official debugging tool to check the short URL’s preview:LINE Poker
If the debug results are normal, the following may be the cause:
  1. You’ve already shared this link in a conversation: LINE remembers the link’s preview, so you need to check the “Clear Cache” on the LINE Poker tool before sharing the link with someone else to confirm the correct display.
  2. The preview includes PicSee’s official introduction: This is a known bug with LINE, for handling please refer toCustom Preview feature
