HTTPS encrypts the communications between the user’s web browser and the web server to prevent hackers from eavesdropping on communications between users and servers, including the web content and the browsed link (They only can know the domain). If you use HTTPS, the Chrome browser will have the lock icon, which means users can trust the website. Otherwise, you will see “Not Secure” in Chrome. (As the following image).
How to set HTTPS? (Only the custom branded short domain users need to set it)

1. Click the account on the top right corner, and go to “Settings”.
2. Switch to the “Domains” tab.
3. Find the activated branded short domain for advanced features in the “Branded short domain” section, and click it.
4. Find “HTTPS(SSL)”, and click “Start to set”.
5. Choose your domain registrar. If your domain registrar isn’t on the list, please choose “Others”, and configure the setup in your domain registrar based on the DNS information provided on the page.
6. Because the DNS settings might take up to 48 hours to be activated, we will check once an hour after you configure them. If they are activated, we will send an email to inform you, and you will be able to use this feature.
7. You can click the “Check status” of the domain in the “BSD” section to check the setup status of “HTTPS (SSL)”. Also, you can put your mouse on the branded short domain, and the trashcan icon will appear. Click it, and the HTTPS will be removed.
I already have an HTTPS certificate. Do I need to set it up again on PicSee?
Because PicSee BSD uses AWS to redirect links, your HTTPS certificate must be attached to AWS to encrypt URL redirection.Due to management considerations, PicSee users cannot attach their own HTTPS certificate.
Why haven't my previous short URLs been updated to HTTPS even though HTTPS is now active?
Due to system limitations, short URLs created before your branded short domain's HTTPS setup will not automatically include HTTPS in the interface. However, since your branded short domain now has HTTPS security protection, you can manually change 'http' to 'https' in your short URLs to enable HTTPS protection for these links.
