PicSee provides a delete-and-restore mechanism for short links, helping you manage URLs with greater safety and flexibility. With this feature, you can quickly remove invalid links when needed, and retrieve full settings and click performance records from the Trash if a link is deleted by mistake, keeping your workflow worry-free.
Delete Short Links
Click the “Trash” icon on the right side of the link to move it to the Trash. The link will no longer be usable.
Please note: Any slug that has been used before cannot be reused, even after the link is deleted.
Restore Short Links
If you accidentally delete a short link, you can restore it from the Trash. Restoring will also recover all original settings and click performance records, ensuring your data remains complete. This is a paid feature. Please visit the
PicSee Pricing page for available plans.
FAQ
The following addresses common questions from users:
- Can’t find a deleted short link in the Trash: The Trash only shows short links that were manually deleted within the past 30 days. If it has been more than 30 days since deletion, you will need to contact support for a paid recovery — see the Custom Add-On Pricing section for fees. Additionally, if the destination URL belongs to a non-shortenable domain and uses a PicSee shared domain (e.g., pse.is), it will be automatically removed for violating our Terms of Service and will not appear in the Trash.
- Can a deleted short link reuse the same slug: No. Any slug that has ever been used cannot be reused, even after the link is deleted. However, you can use the Edit Short Link Slug feature to change an existing link’s slug to a different one, which allows you to use a previously used slug.
- Does deleting a short link restore free plan usage limits: No. Deleting a short link does not reset or restore the free plan quota. For more details, please refer to the Free Plan Usage Limits page.
