Edit thumbnails and title of share links

PicSee allows users to customize how shared links appear on social media platforms, including the thumbnail image, title, and description. This feature is covered by a Taiwan invention patent (Certificate No.: I683274).

After creating a short link, as shown below, you can click the edit icon (pencil symbol) to enter the editing screen. You can also re-edit the link later from the short link list.

On the editing screen, you can modify the following:
  1. Thumbnail: By default, images are pulled from the website. You can also upload your own images or select multiple images to create an animated GIF.
  2. Title: Must be at least 3 characters. You can edit the text manually or use AI to generate title suggestions.
  3. Description: There is no character limit. However, if you plan to share on LINE, it is recommended to add your own text; otherwise, LINE may display PicSee’s default description.

Additionally, on the editing screen (as shown below), you must change at least one of the following—thumbnail, title, or description—before clicking "Save" to apply and update the preview.

FAQ

  1. Why does my image upload keep failing? If it’s not blocked due to adult content, the issue is usually file size. The current maximum file size is 2 MB. Due to differences in how operating systems calculate file size, what you see on your device may differ from what the system detects. It is recommended to use an image compression tool, or send the image to a messaging app (such as WhatsApp), download it, and upload to PicSee again, messaging app can also compress the image.
  2. Are there recommended image formats and sizes? The recommended format is PNG, with a size of 1200 x 628 pixels.
  3. Why does my image look blurry on social platforms? Social platforms compress images. If the original image is too large, it may trigger compression and result in lower quality. Based on testing, using a PNG file at 1200 x 628 pixels provides the best display quality.
  4. Will customizing the thumbnail modify my website? No. This feature only changes the preview of the short link and does not affect your original website. If you want to modify the website’s original thumbnail, please contact your web development team.

Usage Restrictions

  1. Do not upload copyrighted or adult content: Violations may result in account suspension. PicSee reserves the right of final interpretation.

  3. Free plan usage limits apply: See the pricing plans for details.
